Summer Circus Intensive Showcase Performance Doubles its Shows at The Actors Gymnasium

EVANSTON, IL - On July 19 & 20 The Actors Gymnasium will debut its newly expanded Summer Circus Intensive Performance Showcase. The Intensive is an innovative workshop for adults dedicated to the development of high-level physical performance and circus skills.

The workshop participants have spent six weeks with master circus and performing art professionals Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi, David Catlin, Dean Evans, Naomi Hummel, Melinda Myers, Oyunchimeg "Oyuna" Yadamjav, and Javen Ulambayar to develop professional acts. The performances on July 19 & 20 will be the first time the public can see these exciting, collaborative acts in their completion. The culminating Summer Circus Intensive Showcase Performance is open to all ages.

This year, the intensive expanded to meet the growing community of participants and the show schedule reflects this growth.
