Meet Your Instructors

Michel Rodriguez Cintra headshot

Michel Rodriguez Cintra (he/him) is a Cuban born dancer, choreographer, and tumbler based in Chicago. He started training in gymnastics at the age of 6, later competing nationally and internationally as part of the Youth National Cuba Team.

Rodriguez Cintra has a degree in Cuban Modern Dance and Afro-Cuban dances from the Escuela Nacional de Arte in Havana and is an ensemble member of Lucky Plush Productions.


Kylie Anderson headshot

Kylie “Ky” Anderson (they/them) is a physical actor represented by Stewart Talent, located in Chicago, IL. They have a BFA in Drama with an emphasis in Acting from the University of Oklahoma. Ky is EMC; a founding company member at Bramble Theatre, and has worked with a medley of other theaters in Chicago including Redtwist, Steppenwolf, Remmy Bumppo, and Lookingglass. Ky has also trained at Stella Adler’s in New York for physical theatre and was in the School at Steppenwolf class of 2019.

    Gymnastics

    People of all physical backgrounds are welcome in this multi-level class! Students work with an instructor to push their individual tumbling abilities and develop increased coordination and agility.

    Start from scratch and learn the fundamentals of flight in inversions training. Gain access to your strength and confidence to de-mystify headstands, forearm stands & handstands.

    Partner Acro

    Throw, climb, balance, and fly! Blend techniques from partner acrobatics, contact improv, aikido, and ballroom dance to expand your partnering skills. Increase your understanding of your own body and how to work with others in this all-level class. Come with a partner or come solo!

    Join us for a session of active and creative play! Through a combination of theater games and physical activities, students will learn about physical awareness, balance, and the connection between movement and imagination.

    Tumbling

    Kindergarten – 1st Grade

    Learn early tumbling skills in this fun and creative class! Students will play games, practice basic tumbling skills and meet friends in this class designed to introduce fundamental circus skills.
