Youth Circus Program
An intensive experience that pairs professional artists and youth performers to collaboratively create an original new show!
For 5th graders and older, this program includes high-quality training in drama, dance, aerial, and circus arts. Each Youth Circus culminates in a fully-produced show and is one of our most popular ticketed events of the year.

Fall Youth Circus
Rehearsals
First rehearsal is on Saturday, September 21st. Fall Youth Circus rehearses every week on:
Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm
Saturdays, 3pm-6pm
Sundays, 2pm-4:30pm
Tech and Performance Schedule
Tech rehearsals are November 8 - 15th, and the schedule during those dates is as follows:
Wednesdays, 6pm-8pm
Fridays, 6:30pm-10pm
Saturdays, 3pm-7pm
Sundays, 2pm-4:30pm
Tech rehearsals are MANDATORY for all performers. Absences will not be accepted during tech. Unexcused absences during the rehearsal process will result in decrease or loss of role.
The shows are set for Saturday, November 16th & Sunday, November 17th:
Saturday 4:30pm & 7:30pm performances
Sunday 3:00pm performance
Audition Information
Auditions will be a self-taped audition tape. All videos should be no longer than 90 seconds. Audition tapes are due Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 at 7:00pm. All auditions must have filled out the Google Form as well as submitting the video to be considered. See audition prompt and submission information below:
Audition Prompt:
Please do not submit a video longer than 2 minutes.
1. Introduce yourself and tell us about your favorite aspect of performing. (less than 1 minute)
2. Please prepare one of the following monologues below. You do not need to memorize, but do try to make some eye contact with the camera, rather than just reading off the page.

Long John Silver: Now, here’s the deal. You give us the map to find the treasure, and we'll offer you a choice. All audition material will be accepted until 7pm on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024. Please email your video audition to dramadirector@actorsgymnasium.org. No audition videos will be considered without filling out this form, and vise versa.
